A small town, Midwestern singer/songwriter Abbi Scott is a force to be reckoned with. Hanging on to her simple upbringing, country way of life, and belief that most people are good, Abbi is well on her way to being widely acknowledged as the superstar her fans, friends and family already know her to be. A unique blend of folk and modern-classic vocals set her apart at the forefront of her generation with a voice beyond her years. Hailing from the tiny town of Clinton, Indiana, this firecracker started singing at an early age and realized fast that people wanted to hear more. After taking part in a few singing competitions in her early teens, and seeing that her voice drew an immediate fan following, both for her formidable talent and her stellar stage presence, Abbi knew for certain that music was her calling. Topping off her beckoning vocal performance, Abbi is also proficient in guitar and piano. Contributing much of her success to the support of her loved ones, Abbi says her family always influenced her to chase the musical dreams that morphed into a relentless passion for entertaining. “I’d rather be in front of an audience than find a seat at a movie theatre, or a sporting event. Finding a seat makes me nervous. Performing makes me feel alive.”
The majority of Abbi’s musical prowess draws from influences ranging from Garth Brooks, The Cadillac Three, The Dixie Chicks, to her Dad’s favorites Motley Crue and Tesla, giving her signature sound the appropriate kick appealing to young and old. Maintaining her fun and outgoing personality is a must for this college student as she plays on tour all while pursuing her Communications Degree at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.
Abbi has opened for some of the biggest acts in the business (Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Cole Swindell, Lee Brice, Maggie Rose, and many more.)
Most recently, Abbi performed at the NRA Country Soundstage during the NRA Annual Convention opening up for Tyler Farr and Bucky Covington where she played her single “Flying” as record-breaking crowds flooded the streets of Nashville. Josh Jenkins, Geoff Ice, Denton Hunker, Joshua Wilkerson, and Jamey Ice of Green River Ordinance penned the upbeat, feel-good tune and producer Phillip White creates the perfect instrumental balance for Abbi’s timeless vocals. Phillip White is also known for chart topping projects with Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, and Scotty McCreary. Writing is also an important outlet for Abbi as her dreams turn to passions, and passions into a career. Songwriting is an outlet that Abbi’s is blessed to have and counts some of Nashville’s top tunesmith’s in her corner.
Abbi has made Nashville, Tn her home for the past 4 years, and she is proud of its charm and artistic vibe. The city of Nashville is similar to Abbi, they’re both alive with new ideas but maintain that upbringing that so many love, and manage to keep that eclectic outlook that draws you in.
While she navigates her next moves, Abbi is optimistic and truly proud of the fans and dedication that drives her spirit. Stay tuned to see this young sensation’s star rise!
